Services & Process

What services do you offer?

We offer a full range of pool renovation services including pool restorations, pool tiling, coping replacement, interior resurfacing (pebblecrete, tiles, and other finishes), pool surround tiling and paving, water features, retaining walls, gardens, stonework, concreting, and cleaning and sealing.

How long does a typical pool renovation take?

It depends on the scope of work. A straightforward waterline tile band or coping replacement might take a few days, while a complete pool renovation including surrounds and landscaping can take several weeks. We'll give you a clear timeline during the quoting process.

Do I need to drain my pool for renovation work?

In most cases, yes. Interior resurfacing, tiling, and structural repairs require the pool to be drained. We manage the entire process.

Can you help me choose the right materials and finishes?

That's one of our strengths. We work closely with you on design and material selection — from interior surfaces and their effect on water colour, to coping stone, surround tiles, and landscaping materials. We can provide samples and guide you through the options that suit your style and budget.

What is the difference between resurfacing and retiling a pool?

Resurfacing typically refers to applying a new interior coating such as pebblecrete, quartzon, or a render finish over the existing shell. Retiling involves removing old tiles and applying new ones — either as a full interior tile finish or as a waterline tile band. Both refresh the look and extend the life of your pool, but they suit different budgets and aesthetic goals.

What is Green Sukabumi Stone?

Green Sukabumi (also known as Bali Green Stone) is a natural volcanic stone prized for its beautiful green hue and ability to create a stunning tropical water colour. It's a premium pool interior finish that we specialise in. You can see examples in our dedicated Green Sukabumi Stone gallery.

Pool Condition & Repairs

How do I know if my pool needs renovating?

Common signs include cracked or "drummy" (hollow-sounding) coping tiles, a persistent scummy tide mark at the waterline, rough or deteriorating interior surfaces, outdated surrounds, or simply a pool that no longer matches the style of your home. If you're noticing any of these, it's a good time to get in touch.

Can you fix just the waterline tile without a full renovation?

Yes. Adding or replacing a waterline tile band is one of our most popular services. It solves the scummy tidemark problem and is a cost-effective way to refresh the entire look of your pool.

My pool has cracks — does it need to be completely redone?

Not necessarily. Minor cosmetic cracks can often be repaired without a full renovation. Structural cracks are more serious and may require investigation. We'll assess the situation and recommend the most practical solution — we don't push unnecessary work.

Cost & Logistics

How much does a pool renovation cost?

Every pool is different, so costs vary based on the size of the pool, the condition of the existing shell, the materials selected, and the scope of work. We provide detailed, itemised quotes so you know exactly what you're paying for. Contact us for a free quote.

Do you provide written quotes?

Yes. All our quotes are provided in writing and are fully itemised so you can see the cost breakdown for each component of the renovation.

Can I renovate my pool in stages to spread the cost?

In many cases, yes. We can help you prioritise the most urgent or impactful work first — for example, resurfacing the interior now and upgrading the surrounds later. We'll work with you to find a plan that fits your budget.

Do you source and supply the materials?

Yes. We handle material sourcing and supply as part of our project management service. We have established relationships with quality suppliers and can source everything from tiles and stone to pebblecrete finishes.
